I am a highly experienced Instructional Designer, with more than nine years of specializing in higher education and translating classroom modes to online modes of learning. I’ve worked with a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, and can stare down and master any learning management system.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Media and Cinema Studies, from DePaul University’s College of Communication. I’ve won several awards for writing about film history and media literacy issues and published articles about my niche area: classroom films of the 1950s-1970s.
In my spare time, I’m also a media literacy educator and cultural critic. I write about movies, music, and culture at my blog mediamegan.com. I have an outstanding commitment to good design, critical thinking, lifelong learning and my dog.
